Krista Prevost B.Sc(kin), D.Ch. is the owner and head chiropodist at Bloor West Foot Clinic. She earned her degree in 2007 in Chiropody at the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences
in Toronto.

She has a background in Kinesiology majoring in exercise and health physiology at the University of Calgary.  Since graduation, she has continued to enhance her education with a focus on alternative and holistic foot care. Her  specialization in Foot Mobilisation Technique took her all the way to Adelaide Australia under direct tutelage of Ted Jedynak, internationally recognized podiatrist and educator. With this depth of study, she is at the forefront of this therapy in Canada.

Early in her career, she trained in Ross Fraser Nail Bracing for ingrown nails and now shares her knowledge as a presenter on these topics.

Crediting her upbringing in the wilds of the Yukon, Krista’s other passions include time spent in nature paddleboarding, studying herbalism, and practicing Wim Hof Method. She lives in High Park with her husband Jay and two rambunctious kids.

Tasleem Ismail B.Sc(Hons), D.Ch. received her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Health Science from the University of York Ontario in 2004 and graduated from the Michener Institute Chiropody Program in 2007.  Her generous and giving nature has lead her to practice primarily at East End Community health centre with a focus on providing a full array of much needed chiropody services to the East York community.

She is a continuing education powerhouse with a list of specialized skills too lengthy to mention! Her ample toolbox includes: Foot Mobilisation Technique, Ross Fraser Nail Bracing, Active Release Technique and Dry Needling  She provides mentorship to future foot health practitoners as a preceptor to nursing, nurse practitioner and chiropody residents during their clinical rotations.

Tas lives in the Beaches with her husband and fur baby Hudson. When not at work, you can find her conditioning herself through spinning, hiking, snowshoeing with Hudson or exploring the city.

Cynthia Li B.Sc(Hons), D.Ch. graduated from the University of Toronto in 2010, and shortly after obtained her diploma in Chiropody from the Michener Institute in 2013. She specialized in Foot Mobilization Technique in 2014 and has been fixing one foot after another ever since. She started her career in Ottawa before returning to her hometown of Toronto much to our advantage!

An avid world traveller, Cynthia is always up for adventure, and is a master in the kitchen (her macaroons are heavenly!)  She lives in High Park with her husband Jeremy and adorable son.

Extremely passionate for practicing using a holistic approach, she enjoys putting smiles on everyone’s faces. 


Elizabeth Bertin joined Bloor West Foot Clinic in 2015 as a Medical Receptionist. She brings 12 years of experience providing excellent client care. She has been trained to recognize a wide variety of foot issues and to assist in patient care whether it be in choosing proper footwear or compression stocking fitting.

The true heart and soul of Bloor West Foot Clinic, Elizabeth’s warm smile and a helpful attitude will make every visit a pleasure.
